We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, profile details, app settings, support messages, seasons, habits, check-ins, reflections, photos, voice entries, ratings, and story-related content.

We may also collect technical information such as device type, app version, authentication state, error logs, approximate region, and usage events that help us operate and improve the service.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide the product, authenticate accounts, save seasons and check-ins, generate or display stories, sync content across devices, respond to support requests, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Third-Party Services

To Be Seen uses third-party providers for authentication, storage, hosting, analytics, crash reporting, and communications. The app currently supports Google and Apple sign-in and uses Supabase-backed authentication and data storage. These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy practices.

Photos, Voice, and Reflections

Photos, audio, transcripts, written reflections, habit entries, and ratings are user content. We process this content to show it back to you, power product features, and create recap experiences. Do not upload content you do not have permission to store or use.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers, when you direct us to do so, to protect users and the service, during a business transfer, or when required by law.

Your Choices

You may update profile information in the app, disable certain reminders, export available account data, or request account deletion. For privacy requests, contact support@tobeseen.app.

Retention and Security

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We use technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee perfect security.

Children
